it rocks dude! (said over 3 years ago by dave).

was the high steer hard to do? and did it handle b-4 you did it?
(said over 3 years ago by dave).

the paint code i cant remember its 96 ford color the high steer was the best thing i did .no more bump steer drives like a brand new truck.it wasnt to hard to do had to grind abit on the new nuckles abit for the brakes to fit but evrythig else was just r& (said over 3 years ago by Heath Sanborn).

I agree, I did a hi steer conversion on mine... Well worth the money. I can cruise at 70 with no bump steer.... Curious on the rear side glass. looks like all one piece? Whats the story on that? Where can I find some? (said over 3 years ago by Christopher Klapp).

the top and grill are from a 74 that i had a lot of the early tops had one peice glass (said over 3 years ago by Heath Sanborn).

NICE!!! What does the high-steer conversion cost? Obviously it seems like the way to go... (said over 3 years ago by Ryan Levenson).

about $1100 in the high steer but well worth the money if you have spring over (said over 3 years ago by Heath Sanborn).

That is one of the best looking scouts I have seen on this site. Nice rig! (said over 3 years ago by Greg Caudle).

killer rig . . .im new to the scout world.. just bought a 79 and am looking to do alotta wrk.. prolly gonna have to start with fixing the rust in the body but really wanna jump into a soa... is it very hard? and do i need to buy a new axle for the front? (said about 1 year ago by Brady Pierce).

you dont have to buy a new axle. just a little grinding on the housing make a new spring perch for the passenger side grind the knucles loose set caster angle, weld and install high steer.I suggest you go to binder planet.com and do some research before y (said about 1 year ago by Heath Sanborn).

IH onley north has some good info on there web sight also (said about 1 year ago by Heath Sanborn).
