Its a time portal, taking us back to a better time and a better place
Like a lot of these old rigs, this one had been sitting in the weather for many years. I bought it from a friend who swore that he would some day fix it up. After his second kid, his wife told him to get rid of it. I picked up and started taking it apart. My brother in law and I spent the first year and half sand blasting, cutting out rust and welding. Most of that work will never be seen. We replaced the inner and outer rockers, both quarter panels, and floor boards. The front fenders were in decent shape so we cut out the rust and welded in new metal. The hood and the top were also in decent shape. I have rebuild the top end of the engine, transfer case, rear gears and axle.

After a little over two years I am almost done. Next is a 4" lift, wheels and tires. I need a roll bar, bikini top and a stereo system.
