Restoration

Its a time portal, taking us back to a better time and a better place

Description & Modifiations

We restored this bad boy over about 4 years. Named Thor because we painted the motor hammer gray! Full body restoration, rebuilt 345, spring over lift (cut and turned), with 2" lift springs and 2.5 body lift. 37 inch rubber boots. Rancho 5000 shocks. Rhino lined tub(love it). Homemade front bumper with Anything Scout on the rear and sliders. Champion winch, cause it fit the bumper space, not field tested yet though. 456 gears seem to move it well. Custom drive shafts with high flex U-joint. ARB front and rear. Lots of thanks to Sean for all the advice and help. Anything Scout rocks! Also thanks to Al, Alan, Jerry and JR for their incredible talent!

Engine

345 bored out and remanufactured, everything else under the hood is new as well.

Future Modifications

New roll cage, mine doesn't invoke confidence in case of roll over. Maybe carpet, but I doubt that would work well for me. Probably just time to tear it up and have some fun. I'm sure with some fun will come a new list of projects.YEE HAWWWW!!!!

Babble

Nice ride dude. I think I have the same roll bar just pulled it off rusted to body gonna re-fab the bases and add front pieces. Like the color and the bushwakers. Good Job. (said 5 months ago by Jason Noble).

nice ride bro. beautiful resto. (said 5 months ago by Ben Fluegge).

Very sharp! I love my rhino lining too!! (said 5 months ago by Bryce Newman).

very nice ride. like the fender flares, my tub is done with herculiner, so much better than carpet. my first '75 had carpet (said 3 months ago by Christopher Herman).

I was going to ask where you got that front bumper (I see you made it yourself)...that is a righteous setup! Ditch the carpet, go with all rhino-lining and a marine stereo, so rain is no worry! (said 2 months ago by Mike Allegretti).
