Still running and gets you where you need to go.
Stock 1976 Terra that I had and possibly still have plans for. I have done some things to it like remove some aftermarket trim, welded some holes up, painted the top, changed the mirrors, and made some old things look new. I love this truck so much that I have been going back and forth on whether or not to sell it. It was my grandfathers until he passed away in 98. My parents gave to to me for school and never had a problem with it. Until my dads friend convinced him to get a new carb and that carb has been a problem for me since day one. The only thing that makes me want to sell it is that parts are not on the shelves. So when I have a problem its a week problem, but I know that thats the life of an older car.
Right now its a 304 V8 that will run if I put a battery in it. It doesn't run that often since gas is so high and this truck is a gas hog. But its just as good as a Tahoe on gas.
Well I have a few different plans depending on how much higher gas goes. If it goes over or near $5 then I will go electric and never look back. But if gas goes back down to (lets cross our fingers) what it was in 98 then I want a nice 300+ hp engine. But no matter what direction I go I want to lift this sucker and convert it to a 4x4. I want to make it a cross between a rock crawler and a lifted street truck. Also paint it, get a travelall top to make it like a suv, new carpet inside, and so on.
My baby
IS IT FOR SALE?????? (said about 1 year ago by brian webb).
It can be for sale for the right price or the right trade. I am the kind of person who likes the classic look of a Scout. I just want it to run and drive like a 2011 truck. So if I do work on the truck I will only touch the drive train and suspension (said 11 months ago by Chris).
If you are still interested in selling contact me via email or my cell number is 317-430-1354. Thank You (said 8 months ago by brian webb).
