Description & Modifiations

Bought an after market glove box, cut the back out, and installed a detachable face stereo with SIRIUS satellite radio. Everyone should own a dremel! Truck was parked for ten years before I bought it and rebuilt the motor, replaced fuel tank and lines. Had 58,000 original miles. Only 20,000 more have been added over the past five years. Can't help but chuckle when I pass cars still financed with more mileage than my 30 year old Scout. It was only fitting to name it after one of my favorite books, Blue Like Jazz.

Engine

304 eight cylinder

Future Modifications

Hard top restoration is next. Plan on trading all white for black, keeping the original stripe pattern, but trading colors. Body will remain blue. No rush, since the original paint is decent. Very little rust.
