Weekend Wheeler

Drive it to the trail, looks and performs well

Description & Modifiations

I've had this Scout for 28 yrs. It was my first vehicle, bought in high school. We bought it from a farmer who couldn't read and never believed they sent a man to the moon ("Just a Hollywood stunt", he said).

Has a Rancho 2" suspension lift, new body bushings for some add'l height, rebuilt 152, new wiring. Overall looks good at a distance. Has some rattles & rust.

I love the stories you hear from people that you meet when you drive it. It seems everyone has a story about a Scout. The most common things I hear are "You can't stop them", and "They can climb a tree".

Proud to be a Scout owner.

Engine

Recently rebuilt 152.
