Its a time portal, taking us back to a better time and a better place
Scout owners...if your wife hated Scouts, being outdoors, four wheeling, and told you to sell it or else! Keep the Scout or the wife??? Well...divorce slowed things up, but I get through it. Battled cancer for 1 1/2 years. Life changing experience, especially when you live alone. I'm one of the lucky ones. I'm a cancer survivor.
I've owned this 1980 Scout II since 1982 with 5000 original miles.(borrowed the grill off my 1978 parts Scout to replace the bird destroyed 1980 one) It came with a turbo Nissan diesel and it took me across the US twice, hauled my race bikes out to the desert, and everything in-between until it reached the 225,000 mile mark. My Scout's been in the rebuild-restoration mode for over 4 years now, and I wanted share the current status and progression.
