Barn Find

This suckers been sitting for a while.

Description & Modifiations

1965 IH Scout 80. Found sitting in Southerland, Or. Mostly stock. Bumpers are not original. This is a modified restoration project.

Goal:
Original with respect to modernization. That means that I am not going to use an original part if a newer one or a fabricated part is better and safer. I will use original parts if I can find them, have them, and if there are no significant safety/smart engineering upgrades available. Of course free parts override this principle.

Tires: 235/75/15's.
Lift: Body (not sure how high)
Suspension: None
Drivetrain: D27's (because that's what I have).
Body: Gloss Black with Candy Orange and White accents.
Engine: Standard 152
Ignition: Points
Carb: Weber 32/36 2bbl
Other: flush mounted filler and cap.

D44 high gear ratio (higher than 5)
SOA lift on better springs
histeer (hysteer)
33" - 35" tires

Engine

Standard IH 4 Cyl 90/93 hp with the standard Holley carb.
