Description & Modifiations
My third HI my first scout had a few jeeps but always wanted a scout. I tried for years to get this one from a neighbor and finely war him down and he sold it to me last year for $1500.00 I think I got a deal. It’s a 1971 800b 304 V8 with an automatic Trans and 60,000 miles the only thing it was missing was the scout emblem on the passenger side I drive it almost every day:-)
Engine
It’s a little hard to start when it cold and it gives a nice puff of smoke when it fires bit after that it warms up and drive great. It does not leak engine oil Trans fluid now that’s a different store
Future Modifications
I see some front disc brakes, a little heavier suspension, winch, bumpers, roll bar and a lot of there gadgets
