Restoration

Its a time portal, taking us back to a better time and a better place

Description & Modifiations

My wife modified the vehicle on 5/25/08 by getting into a head on collision with a Jeep Grand Cherokee. My 6 year old son was in the back and had a superficial wound on his belly from the seatbelt and a small bump on the head which had already gone away. My wife lacerated her liver, they think from the lap belt and broke the top of her tibia. the liver clotted right away so no big deal and she's doing well. The lady in the Jeep Grand Cherokee had to be cut out of the vehicle with the jaws of life. she suffered two broken arms, two broken legs and a broken pelvis eventhough her air bag went off. I think crumplezones are a marketing ploy so they don't have to say they're using cheap metal. Nothing beats american steel!

I love Traveler's,please add some pictures of your Scout. I would love to see it. I used to have one,and I'm looking for another. (said over 2 years ago by Chad Maile).

Awesome ride..mabe we will cross paths here in Michigan (said over 2 years ago by William Cunningham).

Glad to hear you are all OK. In a tank versus beer can collision, the tank always wins. Good luck putting her (the Scout) back together. If you have to part her out, I would be interested in A/C components, if available (contact me - I am "New Green We (said over 2 years ago by Mike Allegretti).

Glad to hear that your family is okay! This reminds me to upgrade my seat belts though! (said over 2 years ago by Bryce Newman).

If at all possable put her back together. It would be a shame to go to the scrapyard. If you endup parting it out I would be intrested in the axles (said over 2 years ago by James Fry).

glad to hear that everyone is fine, that is what matters the most. finally, another scout owner in michigan (said over 2 years ago by Christopher Herman).
