Drive it to the trail, looks and performs well
I have had this truck since 1997. Drove it to high school. Went to prom in it when it was a rust bucket! Tranny was shot so i took it out and had it rebuilt at a local tranny shop. it originally had a single speed transfer case ( no low!?!) so when i had the rebuild done i put a dana 20 (thanks to Sean for help with gears and drive shafts) and had an extra clutch disk. it has a Hughes Puller torque converter, flex plate, and tranny cooler, and new shifter and cable. Replaced windshield frame hood and front fenders. Replaced hard top with a STC soft top. Paint is Hemi engine orange.I bought a 77 and took the seats, dash, and factory roll bar. Had a skyjacker 4" lift with 4"shackles, brake lines and pitman arm drop Skyjacker nitro shocks. I bought a 75 that had spring over cut and turned C's done by anything scout when they wer in san jose. put front axle Z drag link and stock springs in front, still spring under in rear for axle wrap (seems to help a bit) It has 35 12.5 15 dunlop mud rovers on steel rims.
Fresh built AMC 258 4.2L by S&S Engines in Washington.
