Description & Modifiations

Update 3/31/2010
So i've replaced the sealed beam headlights with some Sylvania hyper whites, i completed sanded and stripped the bed of the old bed liner and had new bed liner sprayed. installed a viper alarm along with an Alpine deck, 4 6" alpine speakers, 2 12" JL Audio subs and 1 mono 1000 watt Kenwood amp, and 1 4 channel 800 watt Kenwood amp.
I also installed new 33inch by 12.5 and 15" Goodyear Wrangler tires. I'm in the process of replacing the roll bar covers, new pics will be posted when I'm done with that.

I just picked her up a few weeks ago. It has a 345 , dual exhaust and it runs in great condition. I'd say 80% of the work needs to be done is cosmetic. It fires right up and sounds mean! I have already grown to really love the $h%t out of my truck. There has only been a 3" inch mod done to it thus far. I have started restoring a few things here and there. I have only painted the front headlight bezels and grille flat black so far.

Future Modifications

3/31/2010
Next, is finish the roll bar covers, replace the plug wires and freshen up the wheels as I do not have $ to buy new ones at the moment.

Next, well I'm going to put in a really good alarm, remote start and keyless entry with extra sirens under the dash. I will be putting in power locks and windows and a kick ass stereo system. What I have planned for the stereo is a 4 channel amp powering 4 6x9's I think and another 2 channel amp for some subwoofers. I will have the windows tinted and restore engine work here and there. Doors need to be aligned and roll bar cover needs to be torn off and restored. I need to then have the upholstery done and I will still be painting parts here and there na flat black. Then hopoefully wheels and tires.

Babble

Leo - great rig! Look at anythingscout's mirrors and bumpers. A little advice - where the mirrors are mounted now visibility is impaired by wind-wing frames. Mount new mirrors back behind window frame point. (said about 1 year ago by Mike Allegretti).

Thanks a bunch Mike, I will do, and your right. these mirrors don't do a darn thing for me but help it pass inspection. (said about 1 year ago by Leo Franco).

You found yourself a sweet ride to start with. Looks like nice rims and they go good with it. Is this your first scout? (said about 1 year ago by Rob Gojkovich).

looks great I will post mine next week and start the expedition on restoring it. Jose
