Drive it to the trail, looks and performs well
This truck started out as a bit of a joke, we bought it for the hard top it had on it which was the only not rusty bit of sheet metal on the whole truck. Stuck with a rust eaten 800, we decided to spend a few days to do a "junkyard wars" type restoration. After all it had a running 304 in it and a snow plow on the front. You can't just pass that kind of opportunity up.
Here's what it's got so far (its not much):
-Chopped and capped the back quarter panels behind the cab
-Fixed rust holes on the exterior
-Replaced both front floor pans
-Sand blasted and por15 the rear of the frame
-por15 and Scorpion liner on the front floors
-Steel cab
-Reupholstered front seat
-Flat bed
-Center mounted a Scout II fuel tank
-Red top optima battery
304
Have not decided which route to go with it yet. Utility truck or reliable wheeler. Either way these things are a must have!
-4 barrel aluminum intake
-dana 44's with scout II springs
-Anything Scout SOA kit
-roll cage
-headers
-mallory ignition
-tube doors
-wide ratio T-19
Anything Scout Grill Guard Workman bumper
Just took the plow off for the last time. We decided to go the wheeler rout. Might do dana 60's with Hummer wheels to start things off. (said about 1 year ago by Ben Law).

Ben, you got some nasty termites out there. I've never seen a flat bed scout, but it looks like you did some work on it. (said about 1 year ago by Rob Gojkovich).
