More pics, please!!! (said over 3 years ago by Bobby Abbott).

Great rig let's see more! (said over 3 years ago by Rob ).

Is that a real Midas? It look like one. (said over 3 years ago by Tim Smolinski).

Thanks for the looks, I didnt think the old traactor would get such attention. Yes it is a Midas. I guess not too many were made. It came with the high back seats, front and rear. A carpet kit. And custom paint and air-brushed sunburst graphics. My family (said over 3 years ago by Ed George).

So Ed did that also come original with those bumpers and is that the original paint job? Oh and let's see the opener! (said over 3 years ago by Rob ).

That push bar came stock on the Midas Baja SSII. I love it. (said over 3 years ago by Tim Smolinski).

That's a rare one. An estimated 25 were made and they only made them in '79. (said over 3 years ago by Tim Smolinski).

Thanks Guys! Yes, bumpers and push bar are origional. Ill have to work on a picture of opener. (said over 3 years ago by Ed George).

Ed I'm conflicted by your rig, on one hand such a rare rig should be preserved in it's originality and restored... (said over 3 years ago by Eric).

on the other...It's BAD ASS!!! Rock On! (said over 3 years ago by Eric).

When I bought the rig it already had 3/4 ton axles and cut fenders. So I thought the best thing was to finish the job! (said over 3 years ago by Ed George).

Tim, are you a scoutepedia? You should write a book! Seriously great info. (said over 3 years ago by Rob ).

That was a good thought! (said over 3 years ago by Eric).

Scoutepedia...no, but I own a Midas SSII too! I'll post pictures soon. (said over 3 years ago by Tim Smolinski).

How did you have to modify the Chevy axles to work with the SOA. I want to do the same SOA to my scout.
(said over 3 years ago by Nate Spence).

I had to relocate spring perches on the rear in-ward. The front I drilled a new hole inward slightly for spring pins. (said over 3 years ago by Ed George).

Thats kickass! A rare truck that kiils it. what more could you ask for? (said over 3 years ago by Ugly).

Does anyone know what the Presidential badge on my dash means? (said over 3 years ago by Ed George).

I do... (said over 3 years ago by Rich Nelson).

It means you should sell it to me! (said over 3 years ago by Rich Nelson).

You should invest in some armored diff covers if you are playing on rocks. Having to replace a smashed up ring and pinion isn't pretty. (said over 3 years ago by Rich Nelson).

Good idea! (said over 3 years ago by Ed George).

Hello from LaPoint, Nice ride it looks good. (said over 3 years ago by Dennis Petty).
